I'm Chris Carter, a Real Estate Broker Associate living and working in Naples, Florida. Originally from the Washington, DC area, I have lived in Florida for over 20 years. During that time, I enjoyed living in Key Biscayne/Miami, Juno Beach/Jupiter, and now Naples. Road trips for both business and pleasure have taken me to many other towns, communities, and areas in Florida - from Fernandina Beach up north all the way to Key West down south.
When I was actively originating mortgages, I wrote a weekly e-newsletter for Florida real estate agents to help them answer buyers' initial financing questions. After about 5 years, I put my newsletter on the back burner when my professional focus shifted from the financing side to the actual purchase and sale of Florida real estate. And then I realized that I missed writing and receiving great feedback from readers!
So here we are, modifying my newsletter format into a blog that is available to anyone interested in how real estate really works in Florida. Subscribers include potential buyers, both new and long-time owners, sellers, Association Board members, title companies, real estate attorneys, management companies, home inspectors, and quite a few others.
Have a question or comment about anything you see here? Have a question about something real estate-related in your part of Florida? I'd like to hear from you and will be happy to answer your questions.
