This site is a natural progression from the e-newsletter I wrote for real estate licensees from 2012 through 2019 when I was actively originating residential mortgages. Now I write for buyers, sellers, and owners of Florida real estate. Topics include purchase and sale details, working with real estate Brokers and Sales Associates, filling in the blanks on a sales contract, negotiation strategies, closing costs, condominium living and governance, mortgage financing, Short-Term Rentals, HOA community issues, property insurance types and requirements, Homestead exemptions, and pretty much anything else that could help readers understand how residential real estate really works in Florida.
